CASE STUDY TIMELINE
Oct 2017 ( 24 Hours )
DESIGN GOAL
To redesign the Mobile and Web Applications for Axis Bank so that first-time users can navigate easily
Users who are new to the banking platform and have just set up a bank account
CHOSEN TARGET AUDIENCE
WHY FOCUS ON NEW USERS?
Users using a banking platform for the first time have a limited understanding of payment processes. The sudden switch to net-banking adds to the confusion of the user.
Due to this confusion, users are unable to focus on important aspects of the interface, such as their bank balance and previous transaction.
SOLUTION
When designing an interface for new users, a question that was constantly kept in mind was:
How can the interface be redesigned so that it is easier for first-time users?
The addition of a faster payment process and simplified representation of complex data will help the user to scan the features of the interface easily
